Watch: #HowDoIRecycle Greeting Cards

Did you know tomorrow is National Thank A Teacher Day? Share a card or handwritten note as the perfect way to show your appreciation. Not only do handwritten notes and cards show appreciation for friends and loved ones, they can show your appreciation for the environment too. After all, paper cards and notes are recyclable! When recycling your greeting cards or handwritten notes be sure to remove any non-paper charms or add-ons. Don’t worry about any glitter, but if there are any foil parts to your cards, they should ideally be removed before recycling. Last but not least, if your card feels waxy or you’re unsure it is paper, do a quick tear test. If you can easily tear the card and see pulp and paper fibers it is likely safe to recycle.
