Here’s to the uncrushable spirit of the innovators. At Ernest, we’ve made it our mission to bring a unique approach to packaging for 70 years and counting. What began in a Los Angeles garage back in 1947 has transformed into our 12 locations nationwide today, where you’ll find 450 dedicated, awesome people going to great lengths to find the perfect solution for our customers.

And if you think cardboard is just for boxes, think again. In the Cardboard Chaos video series, we combined incredible engineering, innovative design, and a do-or-die attitude to achieve the (seemingly) impossible—making things out of cardboard that, well, you'd never think of making out of cardboard. Why? Because we love pushing the limits of what paper can do.

For the entire series, we partnered with Signal Snowboards and started it all off by making them a one-of-kind cardboard snowboard. Then, we hit the beach and asked some pro surfers to help us design a see-through cardboard surfboard. But we didn’t stop there. We made a cardboard pushbike, then called on skate legend Tony Hawk to test our cardboard skateboard on the halfpipe. And finally, we called up the rock gods at Fender and created a cardboard Stratocaster electric guitar—tested by none other than Linkin Park.
