When is the last time your kid picked up a newspaper for some light Sunday morning reading? Probably never.
Because of The New York Times, parents may find their newspapers missing from their front door steps and already unraveled in their homes. Since November, by popular request, the Times has a dedicated section of its Sunday paper for kids. The new section features current event stories told through a kid's perspective, a kid-focused advice column, and fun interactive activities that can be done with parents.
The Times will travel to public schools throughout the nation to capture a genuine "sense of how kids think and what they're worried about." This effort is to make print newspaper "a more powerful, compelling experience" especially between parents and their children.
